So my heart isn’t doing as well as it should be. Doctor will be running a couple of tests so we can get a clearer picture. For starters though it was highly recommended that I change my diet drastically. Vegetarian was decided to be my best option. So I am asking you all for help getting started on this journey. Easiest meals, best snacks etc. I have decided not to tell my family for now, as it would probably be too hard on my them (mom especially). But this diet change is something I can let them in on. I just know nothing about it. Though I can still eat fish, chicken and lean meats, going vegetarian is the cleanest option for me. I am researching tons online, most of it reads like stereo instructions. I need simple fast recipes for now and i’ll slowly move my way up.

@neyona it seems simple enough I just have to be cautious with fats, dairy, and sugars. The few things I have found (pre-made) don’t seem as healthy as I would like. Though, I am looking in places like Walmart and HEB (a local grocery chain). Currently I am sticking with straight up salads and fruits. What would be the easiest, healthiest plate you would recommend?

@korbendallas If you have a Whole Food or Trader Joe’s (even an equivalent) pretty much anything is healthier than a local grocery store chain. I always have a hard time shopping at the grocery store because everything seems like crap but the easiest (maybe not healthiest) veggie plate that I make when I’m lazy is pasta with veggies and switch up the sauces. I’m also a big fan of a bomb stir fry and it can’t really get any easier than that. I enjoy fresh cooking the most but with my work schedule and other responsibilities, I don’t get to do much fresh cooking. I’m all about convienience.
