yeah, in the realm of the senses and metal trax. metal trax is still going and there's another one. called pure concrete. they're both hit and miss. the trax host is total metal, and he loves it all, so sometimes there's obscure european keyboard metal that i can't get into.

if it's a native/local guy, not many possibilities way up there in yer part of the continent. gotta be a 5-lined skink, Eumeces faciatus. didja notice any stripes down his side whilst you tried to refrain from losing your corn in yer brand spankin new pad?

now you say more 'homegrown' than a gecko....this afronts my scientific sensibilities. nonetheless, can you describe the scaly fella with any more detail? was he a stocky sort? if it was a male, he'd be pretty dark but with orange cheeks. matin' season is nigh, ya know interestingly, these guys are of the sort that can drop their tail if threatened and grow back a new nubby one.

another possibility: he is an exotic of some sort that has been released by some dipwad of a humanoid who didn't want to take care of it anymore and now it's just getting by staying indoors. it happens. maybe he snacks on yer bacon when you are out killing what you eat and stuff.

most likely the skink, tho. he probably won't stick around. if he does, yeah, so what. he'll eat your bugs. but watch the tail!!
