so here's the story of my weekend.
thursday night was my cousin's 18th birthday, which is the age of majority in this part of canadia. she chose to go to cowboys, a country/top 40 bar that i really don't like, but i went anyways because it was my cousin's birthday, and because draft was 25. we got there about 9 because she wanted to, and the draft began to flow. about 1:00 we lost her, but we found out the next day that she had begun passing out, and went back to the place she was staying. apparently she tossed as soon as she got out of the bar, and multiple times afterwards. at about 2:30 my other cousin and i gave up looking and headed over to denny's. he had buffalo wings, and i had onion rings. i told him that he shouldn't order ranch dressing if he wasn't going to eat it. he said he didn't have any ranch. there was a big bowl of ranch right there. he left a $20 on the bench, which the waitress brought back to me, and i think we paid the cabbie twice.
friday i took off in advance, but at around 9:30 the phone rang- it was my cousin's boss asking where he was. normally a random absence is tolerated, but two other people had decided to do the same, so he got fucked. i slept til noon and then spent some cash on myself for my birthday. i got back, i think i made some samosas and "chick'n" burgers, then later we headed to stonehouse, our fairly regular spot. after that grabbed some pizza..
saturday was my birthday! i don't remember much, but we did go to stonehouse, and i drank fire, and a lot of jack daniels (one of my favorites). i crashed at a hairstylist's place and somehow woke up with hair dye on my versace shirt, but i got it out eventually.
sunday i went to see the new tomb raider which wasn't all that bad, but i wouldn't recommend it. greasy stirfry was good.
and that was my weekend.
what was yours?

And I know of Bioware. Edmonton based. Yes yes.
THe owner of the Creperie downtown by the greyhound station is the wife of one of the programmers and she's also an agent who signs all the voice actors who do bioware's games.
Just so you know, I'm claustrophobic. I *heart* Ginger Spice.
