ok i called in sick to work today, because i've either caught a virus, or i'm having the worst unexplainable allergy symptoms ever. so here is the story.
first of all, edmonton is an awesome city. i grew up here and loved it then, i guess i just forgot how hype it was. the people are nice, the are lots of cool spots, and the music scene is good. i think each weekend i've run into someone who i know (3 or 4 people from before i moved from edmonton, and one from BC) making it seem a lot smaller than waterloo did.
for june i was housesitting for my great aunt and uncle who were in germany, but now i am crashing on my cousin's couch, which is almost better since we work together, he lives close to old strathcona, and has internet access. i'm am 100% definite that i am going to find my own apartment this weekend, for august 1 or sooner possession.
i'm working 8-5 weekdays and every third saturday, and it's not bad. i don't get much customer interaction, which i would like more of, but it's just until i go back to school in september.
other new things... i've been slacking on staying fit a little bit lately, but my work is a little bit physical, and i really will start a workout regimen once i get settled again. the life of a transient.. i'm getting another tattoo on my right forearm next week reading XIII and below, in old english text: fortuna caeca est. meaning "luck is blind".
everyone keep peepin tha streets and rockin that mic

I give it to them for Whyte Ave (even though the candy store burned down *Caroll's Sweets* despite me putting off going there the afternoon before it burned down because I thought I could go the next day for some british import chocolate), Express buses, and killer cool people.
The downside is that a car, is an absolute must. And it's cheaper to take a limo to the internaitonal airport than a cab.
