Pushing a few buttons, Lobster, Garbage of Eden...
I am exhausted, and didn't do that much today, there is so much to say and I am not really in a mindset to write... ignore the disjointedness of the post, I just need a little reminder for later. You know, when I read my own journal.
I have been having horrible nightmares about DG's kid Anthony learning to unlock the front door, this morning I awoke in a start and went running downstairs to find him standing there in his diapers, door wide open looking for his mother... The door is propped shut with a big wooden chair for the night, so hopefully I will finally get a good night's rest. I have been
freaking out about finding him in the street in the middle of the night.
Robert and Janie are pushing a few buttons, I was actually getting irate today with the difficult situation between the two of them. DG and Gab have started a new relationship. Seemed pretty strange, I was dropped from her friend's list and suddenly she and DG are buddies. The entire AMEN situation
is just clusterfucked, I am really trying to stay positive and supportive through some serious crap but I am being trampled on all sides with very little defense. It is difficult for me to rationalize things lately. The randomness is excruciating.
Last night I went to Garbage of Eden for a meeting, and realized halfway through the evening it was Grammy night. The red carpet in front, and TV station cameras started to make sense... I was going to have my sister's new
husband Mike meet me there, but I had to escape that post prom looking scene, as quickly and quietly as possible. I was a bit tired from the Lobster Festival, DG was sick on the way home,
and even Anthony was exhausted from a day of running around and dancing...
so I left them to sleep and rest while I fed my friend's cats and retouched and printed wedding pictures for Laurie & Mike.
I am really looking forward to Ministry this weekend, and tearing it up for a minute. I haven't been to a good show for a long time.

ever been to the airport with a suitcase, no ticket, a credit card, and no plan...
yeah... I thought so...
although my credit card had less than a starbucks mocha available on it, I did cheat with a pocketful of vouchers for United, Delta, and Lufthansa... Yesterday's travel was an adventure... but I got an email from Moolar, and well... I need to get some travel on... he has become a total nomad...
I am going to try and convince DG to do a Vegas weekend before I go to London next month...
tell me how I can see more of the world

San Francisco... Did I mention I was here?

I am in San Francisco, sleepless.
I am at Janie's fancy pants "boutique small luxury Union Square hotel, in downtown San Francisco" drinking as much free coffee as I can without getting the shakes awaiting a trip out to the airport. Yesterday was JF's birthday, so we went with a photographer friend of hers for sushi before her Apple shoot.
We have had a great trip, lots of fun racing around town and through the hills in this ridiculously fantastic rental. Hung out with Scott for a minute, worked on the LifeCrimes Box Set, and picked up a new HeartLocks store on Haight street.
Another day of long, long phonecalls, and with a heavy heart I found myself writing a response to Matt's post for morning in the UK. Once again, a shitty situation that everyone is going to end up regretting.
BTW...Christina Aguilera - sexy nurse, school teacher, school girl, and naughty cop, *ouch!
Yeah, I thought you would like that...
;-)
