Yeah...
long time, no post.
Well, anything public...sorry.
LA has been a bit of a wild ride for the last week, between deadlines and celebrations we have been burning the candle at both ends and the middle as well. Casey convinced me to join friendster, which has been sucking up a bit of bandwidth and creeping me out a bit, but in the great scheme of things...things are OK.
Jason arrived Saturday, he was supposed to get in at 9:30 in the morning, Sunday - which protracted a long Friday at the house of Chaos...
Yeah. Tell me about it.
I am so happy to have him in LA, it is an opportunity to see the place in a whole different way as we run around from spot to spot, exploring the city.

Our agent, Gab took all of us to an amazing dinner at Wolfgang Puck's Vert tonight. Casey, Rich, and Matt from AMEN, Charlie, Jason, Gabrielle, and myself all gorged ourselves on incredible food, and scandalous, inspiring conversation. Michael, the Matre'D is a friend of my mother, and graciously treated us to numerous tasty treats. Baby arugula, white asparagus, green tomato, and pine nuts with a balsamic vinaigrette. A crispy pizza Margherita with fresh basil and crumbled gorgonzola, lemon tart with mandarin shaved ice, a delicate tiramisu, and of course vodka martini's triple olive in coffee mugs.
This morning I had to return my sister's car, early. Very early.
Jason and I took the subway up to Hollywood and highland, chatted over coffee for hours, and peeped out the freakshow at starbucks. We met gab and worked for a while and had lunch in a tiny Japanese spot with room for about 12 people. Went shopping at Y-Que and X-Large. Spent the rest of the day at Gotham in a nice little room.
