Just spent 10 days in Osaka, relaxing and taking in the energy of my favorite city in the world. Spent some time with the masterful Benny Murasaki, at Chopstick Tattoo @ Horie, and got some more ink, this time in the 'hidden spot', popular with traditional Japanese tattoo and Yakuza. This spot is reserved for 'comedy' tattoo, so what more fitting than a little Kitty-chan action!?!?
Hopefully we will be seeing more of Benny, as I will be setting up my own tattoo shop in Melbourne before 2008 is up. I am calling all tattoo artists to send me their work if they are interested in working in an environment that is dedicated to the artist. email: trenkner@gmail.com if you want in. I will be taking three more artists to work in the shop, so the best will get the gig!!!
