I've discovered that I may have an ability that's not common. I was talking to a girl online and her pic showed her neck and saw her skin texture and I could imagine all the sensations of what it'd be like to kiss her neck and jawline. When I told her this, she seemed surprised and told me that the ability to feel physical sensations from looking at pictures or reading fiction was cool and something she wished she could do. Is this really uncommon?
Anyhoo, it's nice, but not all it's cracked up to be. Real life rarely compares to my imagination because I have a block between my body and my mind. Most sensations go through a filter before I feel them. I'm basically slightly numb. It's one of my defense mechanisms I'd kinda like to get rid of, I just don't know how to go about it.
