Well...My lil sis dropped a bombshell on my family. She's not a lesbian and she's not her gf's gf's. She's decided to become a guy, she's been living as one for awhile, and she starts hormones next month. My mom's having a hard time with this. She's done a good job with "lesbian daughter, bi son, and daughter w/ 2 kids out of wedlock," but this is gettin' to her. Me? I was shocked at first, for 5 minutes. Then my cynicism and numbness kicked in and I've been like "que sera sera" since then.
