an aura of optimism envelops this city, or maybe its the fog. it has permeated my mind. though,I worry that once I leave the city's limits, it will leave me. I know it will happen and I accept that.
for now though, I smile that the fact that I walked 1.5 miles last night, alone, in 55 degree weather and I was happy about it.
