pregnancy pacts?
sooo... do they actually KNOW what having a baby means? Cause I don't think they do. If you want something fun to do with your friends for the rest of your life, why don't you build a business together? Start a book club? I just hope their friendship is stronger than I think it is (especially for girls at 17 years old) cause someone is going to have to be there to take the baby when one of these girls gives up.
Then again, what do I know? Maybe they'll make it and their kids will have a good experience and be okay. I mean none of us are "normal" so it's not like normal is something they're going to be able to achieve anyway. All you can hope for is not addicted to drugs, not an asshole, someone with some self esteem and a good foundation of family and friends.

I fear the worst but hope for the best. The idea strikes me as fundamentally wrong, but I don't know these girls, maybe they can do it, maybe it is what they really want... or maybe they are young and stupid? Probably the latter
