NEW PLAN!
This is what I want: I want to live in one of the units at The Gas Company Lofts and own a Boston Terrier. Then that fantasy will finally be satiated. but if I want to live downtown in a "loft" I'll need to find a "roommate" because I can't afford it on what I make right now.
So the new plan is to find a gay guy from another country, marry him so he can stay in the country, we'll move in together to a loft so that it will be affordable for both of us. He'll obviously love Boston Terriers because he's gay. He can even take the dog out for Last Call. You know about Last Call, right? That time of night when the gay guys use the excuse of walking their dog to walk around the city checking out other guys? I'm not sure if they do it in LA but I they do in New York. In fact, I think I just described my aunt's situation when she moved to New York.
Sadly, this plan is actually more feasible than falling in love and moving in with a boyfriend. Why can't straight guys just be ok with living together, sharing a bed, sharing a closet and a bathroom? They always think there's some kind of big commitment thing there! Gosh!
