sometimes i feel like life is hard to take all at once. I guess the idea of doing something for that long is a heavy thought to deal with.
I'll try to clarify. In school, years are broken up by summer vacation. Every few years you go to a new school, elementary to middle, middle to high school, high school to college. Life comes at you little by little in managable doses. Every now and then something comes along to shake things up.
When you get out of college you're supposed to start your "life," right? How are we expected to do that? To go from pebbles and rocks of life to this huge brick of life?
I feel like all those years spent in school learning that life have left me ill equipped to deal with this one. So now I try to break it up by planning trips every few months and trying to mix things up as much as I can. Still it feels so artificial. I don't think these cycles are working for me.

Yet another problem I have with the educational system, among many. Bring back the guild system, says I.
