Can someone check that Portsmouth is still there? I think I may have drunk it.

Went down to Portsmouth yesterday to see an old school friend...we've been friends since we were 12 so it was totally awesome to see her again. An added bonus was that a big US Naval ship had just docked, so there were lovely American Sailors everywhere.

We ended up doing a little bit of shopping in the glorious sunshine, and then we hit the bars about 4.30pm. Started drinking, had some lunch and catching up on all the gossip.

One drink lead to another, and before we knew it, I'd drunk 16 cosmos. 16! I'm AMAZED I was still standing. We ended up in the middle of a Naval party and the alcohol kept coming. Boy, sailors can DRINK!! Shots, cocktails, beer, jagerbombs, you name it, they were buying it.

I missed my train, sat at the station for an hour, had to change trains 3 times to get home, was sick twice, fell asleep and missed my stop and my boyfriend had to come into Brighton at 1am to find me.

All in all, bloody amazing night!

I have paid for it today...didnt get out of bed until 3.30pm. The Boy went to Burger King and got me some fries and a large coke...and that made it all better.

I won't be drinking again for a LONG time.
