thursday my dad phoned and said "where are you?"
this is as good as "are you sitting down?"
my brother-in-law works for a doubleglazing company and thurs morning whilst carrying a piece of glass, it broke and tried to cut his arm off.
it sliced below the left bicep right through the muscle, taking out ALL the tendons and 5 arteries including the main one. it took TWO hours of surgery to stop it bleeding at poole general and then they moved him to odstock, salisbury where he got another NINE hours to sew it all back together.
everyones a bit dazed, including him!! (but with the morphine he's on another planet) - everything should be OK but it will take a very long time.

Namaste brother - hope your bro's ok. They can do pretty good things with surgery these days
