if you live in or around the tampa bay area, please do you part to prove to the world that a place can A) be worth going to in downtown st petersburg (that isn't a dive bar) and B) stay in business for longer than two years (IE: grand finale, budious, etc) by spending some of your time (and money) at the bank. it's been my favorite hangout for the last several weeks, and i've gotten friendly with bill, the owner, who tells me that if business doesn't turn around in a big way, and soon, it's gonna get shuttered sometime in the next several months. so, do your part!

i'm gonna see 'a history of violence' the day after tomorrow. i can barely contain my excitement.
