update: 'the hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy' was laughably bad. however, i would totally let zooey deschanel sit on my face. that is all. onto the journal entry -

true story:

several weeks ago, i walked down to my local toojay's to pick up some lunch. waiting at the counter to cash out, i saw something through the window behind the register that blew my mind. this girl, about my age, very attractive, well dressed (in that skinny, shaggy-banged scene girl kind of way), dug through a trash can, retrieved a beat-up looking to-go box, and walked off with it. if i hadn't only had a $10 on me, i would have bought her a sandwich.
