Why is it hard to find a good job???
I just need a job that is average in everything!
Why there is always something extreme???
First job I did. Free. no payment, no compensation. no nothing.
Second job. Computers locked in iron boxes, usb ports smashed, no internet no nothing. Affraid we steal code.
Third job. they wanted to pay me in chocolate. No joke.
Fourth job. 10 to 10 everyday. weekend work. sometimes 10 to 2 am. and 2 people got promoted out of my work. I got nothing.
Fifth job. we are so crammed together that everytime someone wants to reach their desk, they have to bump my chair, my desk, my screens. they hold quick meetings literally less than 1 meter away from my head.while my senior loves to micro manage and when you ask an inquiring question (because there is no documentation) he becomes like a prick.
I am so pissed off. looking for the 6th job. will try to lay low as much as i can on the 5th. but there is no guarantee that I do not beat the shit out of that senior. he is pushing it. and he seats on next desk. ( no personal space).
Wish freelancing made me money, I would have kept freelancing.

My employer has just sold off a large part of the group and about half the staff are about to be transferred to the new owner. I am in the central services section, who keep the boat afloat, but the boat is getting smaller all the time.
I am expecting my job to be made redundant some time this year and I am still looking at trading as the way forward. I should get a redundancy payment to keep me going for a while and it trading does not work out I can get back into IT.
Fingers crossed for you and me!
