My, what an incestuous group of friends I have. I stayed up entirely too late speaking with Kate about such matters, and there was really no conclusion. Kate recieved the stink-eye from my crushy friend, which does not bode well, especially because Kate will become my roommate in a matter of weeks. Everyone simply needs to cool the fuck out.

The show went really well tonight: a very vocal audience. I even recieved multiple comments of praise, which doesn't happen often to us tech guys, especially on our budget. But I think that is a large part of our charm: we squeeze everything we can out of our measly budget and create some really beautiful productions. I'm feeling good about what I do.

no doggie park for me and the pooch yesterday, because something happened which hasn't happened in a very long time: i had a date. which i think went well, but i have such a difficult time gauging these things (which perhaps is why i don't date more often). i mean, we're going out again, so i guess i'll just see what develops.

i could watch dogs play all the day long. perhaps i'll visit the dogpark on sunday.

today at work i caught my thumb in the rollers of my press. don't ever do this, because it really, really hurts. actually, i'm incredibly lucky it didn't pull my whole hand in there. i don't even think my thumb's broken, though it's already starting to turn a nasty shade of green/purple.
