my grandma just passed away early this morning...i feel sad because i did not even visit her recently. i went to her nursing home to collect some of her knick-knacks and just had them keep all her clothes and stuff. wish i could have spent more quality time with her with my rush-rush life....

just when i was getting all happy 'bout the weather being all summerlike, it decides to rain (in june?) ...weird.
i visited my best friend over the weekend. she has the most awesome 7 month old child. he smiles and keeps himself entertained and entertains us. he loves to play in the pool.

My dad was a fireman for 25 years in SF. Those older buildings, if one goes up, a few will go up. The older buildings don't have any kind of sprinkler systems or other fire prevention in them. Your sis is damn lucky that she got out OK.
