-It's been a great week, I feel like a phoenix.
phoenix [fee-niks]
-noun, genitive
1. (sometimes initial capital letter) a mythical bird of great beauty fabled to live 500 or 600 years in the Arabian wilderness, to burn itself on a funeral pyre, and to rise from its ashes in the freshness of youth and live through another cycle of years: often an emblem of immortality or of reborn idealism or hope.
-zomg I met a Vivid this week. It was the creepiest, most wonderful thing ever when she walked in the store. Birds singing, bells ringing, and childrens laughter could be heard throughout my work.
-Okay to be more honest, a bunch of video game nerds jaws just hit the floor, and I felt all warm and fuzzy, regardless, she rocks your face.
-So my asshole (now ex)friend moved to Colorado to live with my best friend out there, and when he left he took my PS2 and Gamecube I had loaned to him with him, or so I thought. It was just brought to my attention that instead he sold them before he left. If he ever comes back to Michigan I will be waiting all ninja style in his home waiting for him. Be afraid.
-My actual best friend from Colorado came to Michigan for the weekend. IN a completely non-homosexual, completely manly way, I've missed him immensely. He says he's gonna move back to Michigan because his woman and our mutual now ex-friend are driving him insane. I can't wait! Oh the trouble we'll cause when he is back.
-Okay again, to be honest, our idea of fun was to sit at Coney Island (poor non-Michiganders who have no idea what they are) till 5am drinking coffee and discussing the intricacies of life, love, and the pursuit of whatever the hell we want.
-Skywisdom has introduced a quite intriguing concept of writing articles for SG. Given a bit more thought, I think this could be fun. As long as it doesn't turn into a chore like blog updating sometimes seems.
-After 2 years, I have finally unpacked the last box in my room. Well, more than just last box, all the boxes I basically moved in with were left unpacked. They are now empty! Granted 90% of the stuff in the boxes is now in the trash, and the other 10% on my bedroom floor, but it does feel good to be unpacked.
-I have to many books.
-While unpacking, I found a bunch of stuff belonging to my ex (we broke up three years ago after dating for 5...) Items include:
1. College Diploma
2. Drivers License
3. Cedar Pointe Season Pass
4. One (1) Bra
5. One (1) Panties
-My question is, why do I have the last two items on the list. Creepy imo.
-While at work, atleast 4-5 times a day I have someone mention to me that I look like Hiro Nakamura. It has been especially bad as of late. I've officially decided to embrace it. My friend is a hairdresser, so I am brining her a picture of Hiro and telling her to cut my hair like him.
-I have officially found out how to play Playstation 1 discs on my computer. Oh happy day.
-Did I mention I'm a complete and utter nerd.
Bah blog overload, must stop.
On a side note, I think it's time for me to play the comment game, which I think you all should try. Go to someones page, make a comment, then go to someone who's made a comment on their page's page, make a comment there, and repeat. It's quite fun, and you end up traveling around the whole world by the time you're done.
