If this were a perfect world, I would be making this journal entry via video. I decided a while ago that the best way to announce the arrival of my camera to the SG world would be via videoblog. Sadly, the camera has not yet arrived, but I still feel compelled to make an entry all the same. Waiting, though. It sucks.
I have, once again, felt the urge to get another tattoo. Knowing me, this will of course mean that I'll actually get around to getting it in about a year and a half or so, but my money situation is doing a bit better than it was between my first and my last, so perhaps this will be different. I've decided that my next "big" purchase will be a passport, because I hear Canada's a really nice place, but it'd be nice to get back into the country after visiting. That, and Nick's parents are having an important anniversary in another year or two (35, I think) and to celebrate, they want to take the family - which currently consists of them, their two sons, and the gal that's hopelessly devoted to the older boy - on a cruise. How can you say no to that? Only if you don't have a passport, missy!
But after the passport, the tattoo. I want to do a nice color one that's purely - as I like to think of it - body illustration. I have two tattoos that I absolutely love, and I still get tons of compliments on my upper arm piece, and they both have very deep and personal meaning for me. But now it's time to get something prettyfying. Right now, I'm leaning a wee bit towards this or this (both of which were done by rocktopus, who I have decided is way cool). I'd consider an Elvgren pinup girl, but I don't know if any artists around here are any good at realistic, portrait-esque works. So that type of thing may wait. And who knows, if I see another piece of art that strikes me, I may consider that a little more heavily too.
Bride of the Monster continues. Things are going well for us, though I'm getting concerned because we've got about half our props and almost zero of our costume items in hand, and we open on the 28th. Maybe I shouldn't be that concerned, but I'm the stage manager. It's my job to worry about this shit. Though I have been promised that I'll be compensated for the money I've spent on props already, and I'm already thinking it should be in Bravissimo bra-and-panty combo form. Because really, what better way to celebrate the closing of a show you've put together than with new lingerie?
Well, it is almost my bedtime... Here's another Halloweenie pic. Going for the "lost soul" "night of the ghoul" sort of thing...

I have to say, I like the idea of you in Canada. Too bad it's not my part of Canada
Thanks for the compliment
