I'm opening with an image, because people seem to appreciate it a lot - plus this is a ginormous blog entry (it seems like) with not a lot going on, so I feel I ought to give you people something for your time.

Blog blog blog blog blob.
My old boss from the bar is finally back in the states, after spending a year in Iraq. Welcome back, Bob!!!
So, a little-known fact about me. I was born in Japan! Over the years, I've been asked many times if that means that I have dual citizenship, and I always just blew off the question, not really knowing the answer. Now, thanks to a chance comment from my mother last weekend, I now know the answer.
Nope, and I never did.
Dangit.
When it comes to citizenship, it seems, Japan is unlike the US in that it allows a person who has been born within the country to automatically allow citizenship (actually, aparently even the US requires the parents to have lived here for a certain amount of time, but details). It appears that in order to be granted Japanese citizenship, one must either have been born to a Japanese parent (with some exceptions, limitations, and such) or go through the process of naturalization. And, even if I had been automatically granted citizenship at birth, Japan does not recognize dual citizenship - I would have had to choose one or the other by the time I turned 22 (so I'd be about two years late for that anyway, dangit).
So that means that I can collect all the Japanese paraphernalia I want, steal all of my mother's souveniers from the 3 years she spent over there, collect all the Zatoichi and Lone Wolf and Cub movies there are, and pretend to learn the language, but if I want to be a real Japanese girl (sort of) I'll have to actually buckle down and do some work.
Just something I thought I'd share with you all.
I've decided which bra I'm going to buy (I'm also going to buy the matching panties BECAUSE I CAN!!!). I haven't bought them yet, but I will, and once I get them, I promise I'll take pictures so nobody has to be in suspense about it, and everyone can enjoy them as much as I certainly will be.
Moving day is in about a month. I'm not moving, myself, but the roommate is moving out, and the beau is moving in. Nice arrangement for me, but it will be a huge clusterfuck for a week or two there, and I will surely go quite insane. Not that I'm not already quite insane, but you understand how it is.
Thanks to those who have suggested stuff and/or offered help with my website I'm considering. Maybe I'll be able to start working on it soon (since I'm not playing WoW anymore (sorry Lorensoth)) but maybe not, since I need to make some serious arrangements for this move thingy. Either way, all will, of course, be kept posted.
Ending with another image. Why? BECAUSE I CAN!!

Did I already post this one to blog? I can't remember. Meh. I really like it.
