Well, January 2011 is winding down, and boy how things have changed. For starters, the bus strike is over and service will resume tomorrow after being off the roads for a few days shy of 3 months. It's been so long that I honestly don't remember what I used to do for kicks before being sequestered in my home for the winter. So, I'm going to focus on working out. Not least of all because now Smurph is back in Ontario and will be there until mid-March. And our aggravating roommate has moved out, so it's just me and the awesome roommate left. So I've got time on my hands.

To start, the roomie and I have filled our cupboards with healthy snacks instead of the crappy convenience food that Smurph loves. She's a doll, but a terrible influence when grocery shopping.

Also, since the aggravating roommate is gone, I won't feel so awkward about coming home and working out. Or even just coming home in general. W00t!!!!

In the interest of cutting calories, I'm also going to cut booze out during weeknights. Except for tonight. The roomie and I are celebrating, and tomorrow we diet. I'll also probably wind up going vegan. Just because it feels like a good time to do it. What the heck.
