Ugh. Not good news.



We took Steph's taxes in to get done, and it turns out she owes about $4000 because of the RESP she used to pay for school. What the fuck is the point of an RESP if the student using it is going to get brutalized by taxes? What the fucking shit?



So I'm feeling overwhelmed and terrified about finances and discouraged about finding a job good enough so we can pay all this shit off. Steph's finally working, but she's just working for Toys R Us until Christmas. It doesn't pay anything exceptional, so we're not going to get terribly far ahead. And I can't for the life of me get a full-time job for more than $10/hr. The good paying IT jobs offer me one shift every couple weeks. This is fucking shit.

Long story short, I only bought a one-month SG membership to pop back in, and it doesn't look like I'll be renewing it before the new year. So I'll enjoy it while I'm here, because once I'm grey again I won't be back until 2011 unless I get that awesome job I've been praying for.



Any words of wisdom, etc would be super.
