Well it's officially Christmas Eve and all I've really done today is work work work. 
I actually just returned from the grocery store to buy everything for Christmas dinner. Vanilla bean, as it turns out costs $14.99 at stop & shop...who knew?
SO...I am going to hunt for a cheaper version in the AM.
The plan is to make Raspberry & vanilla tartine with honey as an appetizer/snack. Grilled Korean-style steaks with spicy cilantro sauce with salads & rice for the main course, and Chocolate gianduia cake with rice krispies crust for dessert. I've never made any of these dishes...so wish me luck!
