sooooo. I really want a new camera. Any one have any suggestions for a camera that is for someone like me ( hobbyist) but still has above average photo quality. I'm looking in the 400 to 1, 000 price range...

Yeah, it's def within range. I have no problem spending a little chunk of change for something that's good quality ya know.

The Nikon D7000 is one of the best cameras out there beating more expensive ones in a lot of categories. I got one recently and am loving it.
