I just got back from a vacation in Alaska. A blast! The scale of everything there is pretty overwhelming. Did a bit of climbing, a bit of zip-lining, a bit of other sound-dangerous-but-really-aren't type things. Got drunk, got naked, and jumped in a lake that had to be about 38 degrees - luckily, there were sober people there to help pull us out. Took a cushy cruise ship up, roughed it back to Vancouver (OK, I flew to Vancouver, but roughed it from Anchorage to Sitka).

As I said, I went north on a ship with the family. I'm not sure how effective that "infant" life preserver was - the boy seemed more interested in eating it.
Also, check the camo diaper bag in the last pic. Who's aging hipster dad? I'm aging hipster dad! Also, I wish I had been on that huge ship in the background - that sucker looks pretty plush.
