How do you guys survive the snow? I had to call off this week. Luckily this weekend looks good so I don’t have to call off. While stuck at home I cleaned, cooked, baked and binge watched tv shows. I went on a walk when I couldn’t take being in anymore then I built a quite funny looking snowman. What did you guys do to keep yourself occupied? Did you even have snow? We got a lot!!!

As a life long resident in the snow belt, work. Construction in the '80's, though if roofing did something else. Since 1990 pilot an 18 wheeler, parked since last January. One of the last storms before parking was so bad that I got 1/3 of the way to work and said: "I can't get there", turned around to home to wait out the storm and that is with Front Wheel Drive / Studded Snow Tires. Since then keep the woodstoves fed and the walkways & driveway clear.

Luckly I rent my apartment so I just have to shovel my front steps. The land lord plows our long driveway. Sometimes he doesn’t do it very timely and I can’t get out when I need to.
