I am currently sitting at my desk attempting to write a 3000 word essay thats due Monday week, but it's not flowing
I decided to make some pumpkin and potato soup (which i might add was fucking lush... ok so the pic makes it look a lil like baby food but it was lovely!)
Get to the blending stage and it spurts all over me, burning my arm 
I take the blender-whisk-thing out and realise exactly how hot it is (and why the burn hurt so much) - it melted the fucking plastic!!!!
Friday night I went out with a few friends for some drinkies and a curry and had a really good night - just what we all needed me thinks!
. Thursday was spent dying from a very messy Halloween. Halloween was wicked - I ended up getting battered and having a really nice time
The weekend of gigging joyness was epic in all shapes and sizes. Janet (my sat nav) was true to form and got me and my friend to Manchester without any manjor hiccups. Our hotel was perfectly located and Arcade Fire were amazing! I got completely ripped off on some merchandise but I was too drunk to care (we got absolutely battered and ended up calling up all our friends at 1am). However Bat for Lashes were the highlight of the weekend. They/she was fucking amazing!!! (even though we forgot to change our clocks back which caused much amusement!) The provisions at Koko for the disabled are wonderful (I have officially resigned myself to the crutches on most occassions) - private balcony overlooking the stage, roped off area, bouncer there to get anyone to fuck off (he was also working the backstage enterance but was also looking after us) and our own loo! The support act (Spleen) were a bit good (think a French Kele from Bloc Party but with a body to die for!!)
Think husky male blues vocal, a guitar and a bloke doing beatbox.... odd but works! But Bat for Lashes - what can you say? She was out of this world! Truely amazing! Lady A you would have been sooo jealous!!
Phew... what a week - back to the essay me thinks! xx
. if it makes you feel any better I've been doped off my face on anti-biotics for the last week, which meant no booze 
. Now you probably think I'm an alcoholic.
