I feel like a failure. I've already caved on the smoking thing. In fairness my mum almost frogmarched me to the nearest newsagent because i was doing her head in so much. I've really let myself down. *sigh*
I'm going to soldier on with the Alan Carr book and see how that goes. I'm cancelling my appointment with the quit smoking advisor at the Doctors because he was a twat and seemed to be obsessed with me being a "big girl".

In other news, i can't wait to start my MA! Only a month to go now and i'm itching to be a student again. The only part of the course i'm not looking forward to is the advanced statistics module. I'm hoping that because it's all done by a computer programme i should be ok. The other modules sound really interesting and i can't wait to start on my research projects. In case you were wondering, it's a degree in social science research methods. I'm hoping to go into social research or academia eventually.

Tomorrow i'm off out on a family picnic in the countryside. I can think of worse ways to spend the bank holiday.
