ha! what a great quote. i tried to read this book last summer but got really distracted. so now i'm trying to read it again. i used to read so much when i was younger and in school. and now i just watch tv and dumb shit like that. i want to feel like i'm not getting dumber, but rather getting smarter. oh well. ha, as i type this, a really bad reality tv show blares in the background.

i'm tired today. we had a busy weekend. some friends in a band came thru on tour and stayed with us, and played a show last night. between them and my crazy kitten, sleep has been scarce. i almost called in to work today, but my annoying sense of responsibility kicked in (thanks, Mom), and i went. but now i'm done, and enjoying some alone-time. pasta salad for dinner......mmm..
