To continue with my tale...
on tuesday we got to sleep in (Yay!). then we went to lunch with jessica. it was a somewhat classy chinese buffet place. kinda weird. i had sushi, but only one piece had raw fish. i was a bit paranoid about eating buffet sushi, but it looked fresh. so yeah, it was fine. anyways. after that we met everybody at the strip club. Gage was awesome. its amazing what people can do on a pole
karl and i spent way too much money at the club. a lot of the girls were really cool though, so i had to keep giving them money
and now on to wednesday
we slept in again (of course). got ready, had lunch, bla bla bla. then we met up with another of karl's friends (Ben) cuz he was going to the concert as well. before we picked him up, though, i had to change into my corset-top while we were driving to his apt. it was funny cuz i kept distracting karl. we're lucky he didn't crash
then we met the sgkc people again, this time for dinner before the show. i has just eaten, so i got some dessert. i'm pretty sure it was vegan strawberry shortcake. it was a bit too sugary for me. Jill's vegan-chocolate-cake-thingie was much yummier
after dinner, we all met up at the Fillmore for the show. The Dresden Dolls opened. They were pretty cool. but Jill was more entertaining. she was handing out sg stickers, but only to sticker-worthy people. very few people actully knew what suicidegirls.com was, so she had to keep explaining it over and over. it was kinda funny.
so, the Nine Inch Nails show was awesome. they played for about an hour and a half. apparently, they played some songs that they hadn't played live in a long time. karl informed me of this. i have just started to get really into them, so i rely on karl to keep me in the know for now
ok, after the show Jill, Karl, Ben and I went dancing at some club Karl used to go to all the time. it was a hip-hop club, which is what Jill was in the mood for. i didn't care where we went, as long as i got to dance. so we spent a couple of hours there and then went back to Jessica's house (with Jill in tow). thursday afternoon we left at around 2 and got home at 3 am. with the time change that's 12 hours driving.
and that's the end. aren't you glad?
