Sup everyone? Its a beautiful day in Vancouver - we got the Olympics this morning! Pretty crazy - lots of people were celebrating.
I found myself amazed at how fast technology moves. The story was posted just two minutes after the announcement on the Globe and Mail.com this morning. I just kept clicking refresh to get the article.

Other than that, I took some time off over the Canada Day long weekend, but put a half day in on Monday - lame, but unfortunately I did.
hiked up Mt. Gardner on Bowen Island - perfect summer day for it. Great view all around at the top. Can't wait for this weekend - camping up on Brunswick in Howe Sound. Should be good. I get to test out some new gear too - so that'll hopefully go well.

Howdy! Sounds like you had a great time. Vancouver is cool! I've been there several times. Heh heh... I love the name Pyewacket! Seems lots of other folks do too. And we got the car fixed; needed a new battery. However, you are living my ideal - no car! My sweetie has his Mazda truck, but we are both big proponents of public transportation and cycling (even though I'm way out of shape to ride a bicycle properly). Nice to have met you!!
