BOO HISS! No pics! I'm sorry! I wish we had pics of the Grove Park Inn spa in Asheville. It was a wonderfully gorgeous, sunny blue day. A bit breezy, but not cold, even when we ventured out from the inside HOT TUBS to the outside hot tubs. We did the hot tub thing to get a little relaxed before the REAL treatment of massage. I got a swedish massage, my pal got a Grove Stone massage, where they don't rub but put nice HOT stones in all the places they would massage (including your face) to melt away the tension!! I think I might try that next time.
They are mighty pricey, but damn, it was worth it! My friend and I are totally spa hooked now! (Poor Idjiit, or at least he will be poor.
Anyway, it was a fabulous time! For all of those of you who haven't been to Asheville, it is amazing! Great food everywhere you look, hippies, yuppies, retired folks, the Smoky Mountains, a happening music scene; what more could you ask for? Cheap rent, you say? Well, they had it 5 years ago, but then everyone heard about it. Oh well.
