Oh, I'm okay. I've had a REALLY shitty couple of weeks with grad school. I really considered going to my advisor and quitting. Seriously. I felt like coming to grad school was a giant mistake, that I am not up to it. But I finally confided in some peers, and I was assured that this is completely normal, especially in the first semester. So, I did some serious breathing, cleared my head, and decided to hang in there.
Do you ever find yourself holding your breath, wondering why you're tense, and slightly dizzy? No, just me? Well I do, and I realize, "oh shit, I'm not breathing!" I always thought the classic work-out refrain from aerobics instructors, "Don't forget to breathe!" was a joke. I mean, how could you forget?
Well I found out. It's called stress.

I never thought of the "keep breathing" thing as real either in aerobics, but in daily stress... sometimes KEEP BREATHING is just what you need to hear.
Nice Blog, good to see I am not alone in my anti "Have a Happy Period" campaign!
