I'm home writing a paper on what will probably turn out to be a very cold wet saturday.
Last night the handsome Idjiit and I went for a delicious dinner at the Underground in Raleigh. While the ambience didn't quite live up to the website's desciption of "urban sexy chic," (they were playing Dave Matthews and Blues Traveler for the first half an hour before switching to the Postal Service), the assortment of small plates were full of flavor, and PERFECTLY cooked lamb, pork and duck! The arugula salad with goat cheese and candied pecans was to die for, and the wild mushroom tart with carmalized onions wrapped in puff pastry was magnificent.
While quite pricey, Idjiit and I were waay overdue to a wonderful and romantic dinner, so the splurge was worth it! I highly recommend it to anyone in the area!

YES it is a CHOOL night, going to bed soon.. watching Office Space, it was funny. Have not seen it before, so there ya go!
