does anyone have any suggestions on how to find a good doctor?
my roommate refered me to hers, and i didnt like him. hes kind of odd and creepy.
and i think i need to go to the doctor. i seem to have some sort of involuntary eating disorder.
you know when something really bad happens, or you are really really stressed about something? and you have that feeling in the pit of your stomach like you are nauseous? its not like when you are really going to throw up, its just this "i just really dont feel like eating" sort of thing? i have had that feeling every day for about 2.5 months now.
its really bad when i first wake up, and after i eat. and since eating makes me feel sick, i tend only to eat once a day or so. just to avoid feeling sick. and i know this isnt good, im not doing it on purpose. but i would rather feel hungry than sick. im pretty sure it has to do with anxiety or stress. it started from that asshole. but the thing is, now im over it, but i still have this feeling. and im not aware of being stressed about anything too major (nothing that i wasnt stressed about before) and im not anxious about anything. so i dont know.
and im not really comfortable with my doctor. if i go in there saying i cant eat, hes either going to think im anorexic or depressed and im not either of those. or hes going to tell me to stop drinking or something (he thinks im a drunk). or hes just going to tell me he doesnt know and to come back in 2 weeks if im still sick. he did that twice with my tonsils...
so yeah, any doctor suggestions? i dont want to just pick one off my insurance list, with no idea who im going to. i have a feeling if i do that ill be to 10 different doctors before i find a decent one...

oooooooo:
i dont know of any good doctors, as i don't live in the area. i do know that your body can get used to things, such as not eating much, and tend to reject the notion of food. you could try eating very small, healthy, combinations of lean protien and complex carbohydrates, in about two hour intervals. this may do two things. one the portions may be small enough that you can handle the discomfort, and two, this should jumpstart your metabolism and get your system running at an optimal level. anyway just a suggestion.
