Alas! A baby!
I came into work this morning and went to feed the fish, as I always do, when low and behold, I found a little baby fish that had survived the relentless game of hide and eat played by all the other cannibalistic fish in the tank! Its so cute! He (or maybe its a she, I dont know) is about 1cm long with its eyeballs taking up like a quarter of its body. I put the food in the tank and it went zip, zip, zipping around to gather little bits before being seen by the big kids. Oh happy dayIm a mommy!
This weekend waseventful. On Saturday I played little Suzie homemaker and decided to make fresh spaghetti sauce from scratch. A friend of mine has 6 tomato plants absolutely exploding with fruit that he has dubbed as not good enough to eat. He told me he was going to throw them all away! My cooking instinct kicked into overdrive as I exclaimed, Woah buddy! Give them to me and Ill make sauce! So I spent 3 hours in my steamy kitchen blanching and pealing tomatoes wearing an oversized tank top. Now I have an abundance of stewed tomatoes and tonight I am going to go home and make the most fabulous sauce in the history of.wellsauce.
On Sunday I got my ass reamed at mini golf. Those damned anthills get me every time! It was okay though because I then redeemed myself by kicking some serious ass on the air hockey table.
Oh yea! I went to my friends house to show him my car and he crawled under it and popped the dent right out! I was amazed! He stood up and said, Thatll be $500 please. Smartass.
