Anyone looking for a room for rent in Campbell?
I need a roomie soon.
Rent: $1,370/mo ($685 each)
PG&E: $50 - $120/mo ($25 - $60 each)
Cable & Internet (negotiable - I can live without both): $90/mo ($45 each)
Two story home. My room, living area, and bathroom are all upstairs. You would pretty much have the whole downstairs to yourself. The only time I really go downstairs is to use the kitchen.
The bedroom room is small (9' x 14') but rent includes:
-another small room (7'x 7'), good for storage or office/computer room - all yours
-enclosed yard: you may plant things, bbq, lounge, etc.
-private entrance with sliding glass door: your room has a sliding glass door that opens to the yard
-private full bathroom: shower and tub
-washer & dryer: shared, in the garage
-room in the garage for storage: I park my car in the garage but there's plenty of room for your storage or maybe even a motorcycle
Nearest major intersection is Campbell Avenue & San Thomas Aquino.
My schedule is fairly busy:
Work - MON-FRI, 8:30a-5:30p
School - MON-THU 6:30p-9:30p
I am extremely laid back about my living partner but there are a few "rules" that I absolutely must enforce:
Sorry, no cats or dogs. I already have one cat on the premises that was severely traumatized as a kitten and therefore does not interact well with other animals.
No drugs or drug users in the house. I went through that phase in my life long ago and prefer not to surround myself with it any longer. 420 lifestyle okay. There is a comfy couch in the garage.
No heavy drinkers. I enjoy a beer or a night of drinking and debauchery once in a while but it will never interfere with your life. I expect your drinking habits to never interfere with mine.
No smoking inside. This is written in the lease. You may smoke outside.
You may have overnight guests whenever you want but the landlord is very strict about this room being rented to one person only. Your couch cannot be the place your buddy crashes on for a month when they get kicked out of their house.
No psycho girlfriends/ex-girlfriends/boyfriends/ex-boyfriends. I am very drama-free. I hate it and can't stand to be around it. I cannot and WILL not deal with fighting/yelling in my house or crazy people stalking the house at random hours/etc.
I expect cleanliness in common areas. I don't care how you keep your space as long as it doesn't involve destruction to the house.
Street parking only.

Move in on 9/3 but are free to start moving your stuff into the garage on the 1st.
Must provide own credit check (landlord's request).
First & Last required at move in. If you can't afford this, you can add an extra $100 to your rent every month until last month's rent is covered.
