So my birthday was on sunday, and my friend had this brilliant idea... Snowboarding. We wound up going the day before and it was amazing. It was the second to last day of the season, and to be honest, I'm surprised there weren't more people. It was an amazing day. I just mainly kept myself from doing any crazy tricks, and I did pretty good for most the day. Stuck mainly to the trails, and once in awhile hit the sides for some powder. Soon came the last run.Mind you I had been partyin a lil the night before and hadn't slept. I decided to stick to my motto.. "Go Big or Go Home!" And I did just that, one jump shot me outta the trees and surprisingly enough I landed it, fallowed by a little jump and nailed that too. Well we got close to the bottom of the mountain and I decided I was gonna stick my landing outta the boulder field. I didn't even think, I just did it, and to my surprise I did land it. Only to catch my toeside close to the front of the board. With the momentum from shooting outta the boulder field I launched myself head over heels landing on sticks and a few small boulders. It was insane. My arm caught under me and I smashed it between my ribs and the small boulders, I hit my head but not to hard. It was insane. My ribs and right side are still hurting but I landed it and that's all that mattered. After I collapsed next to my friend ten feet away I laid there for a good ten min. Hard to breathe and sit up I stared at the sky. I finally collected myself and slowly got to my feet. I fallowed my friend down the mountain to catch a small jump that shot me across the slope and to my surprise I stuck it hard. It was insane. Over all my day was amazing. I can't wait till next week. It's gonna be bad ass now that I'm stickin my landings. Well. I'll post some pics in a bit. But for now ttfn..
