I'm taking a poll based on a conversation I had with Zarphin today. He and I both married people we thought we would get old and decrepit with. Both ended in divorce. Mr. Z met the woman of his dreams he didn't even know he was looking for. Sadly she was diagnosed with breast cancer a year ago and was lost about 7 months ago. I would have loved to meet her and see how happy they were together but I didn't meet Z until the beginning of this year. He worries that the woman he lost may have been his one chance for true love. If you've been reading my blogs you know what I've been going through and that I've met someone else I'm crazy about but I have reservations about relationships thanks to my failed marriage.
My question is this: Is there only one "the one" out there for everyone?
Bonus questions: Does the Disney version of love and happily ever after really exist and is it possible to have love that lasts a lifetime or does it inevitably fade as people grow and grow apart?
I don't know what I believe anymore so I'd love to know what you believe.

i'm lucky (or unlucky) enough to have two soul mates.
it's both a blessing and a curse.
so i'd say it is possible to have more than one ''the one''.
as for Disney love?
no...it eventually becomes routine and samey. you just gotta deal with that when it happens.
