I got some news at work today that I'm not allowed to share at work for a few weeks so I thought I would share it here. I'm getting moved back to our corporate office under a new boss, along with another one of my co-workers. I'm not sure if this will be a good thing or not so I'm trying to keep an open mind. My current boss can be pretty cool. She's the antithesis of a micro manager and knows that when I'm sitting at my desk with my head phones on I'm getting my shit done and she doesn't bother me. The good news is the new boss seems to have a similar attitude. I don't want to work at corporate again though. I loathe our CEO and our HR woman doesn't care for me and throws hissy fits if I have my hair in a pony tail and she can see the roses on my neck. Corporate is also farther from home so instead of a 4 minute drive to work it will be about 10. Still not too bad. So there are pros and cons here. I have no idea when this change is happening or where my desk will be since the reason I'm not currently at corporate is because the building is full. I really hope I don't have to share a desk. I have far too much paperwork for that to be possible. At least this will all be temporary since I'm still planning to move back to AZ.

Good luck with the move. That sucks that the HR person gives you crap about tatoos. Did she not know about them when she hired you? I mean wtf, shes hr its her fault isn't it. Oh, and good luck with the desk thing too. I'm a mechanic, and right now they are doing construction in our shop, so we are being pushed all over the shop, and running into each other, and each others stuff. Its the pits, can't wait for this to be done. Oh and see all those comments up there, thats a bit of a following anyways.
