I'm soooooo excited! In a little over a week my friend and I are taking a little trip to the east side of Michigan. I'm going to get to see her home town, meet her dad and step mom and old friends. One of the friends I'm hoping to meet is a woman who is in her early 30's who has been heavily treated for breast cancer. Just as things were getting back to normal and her hair was growing back a tumor was found on either her kidney or liver, I can't remember now. She is having surgery to remove it and will have to restart chemo. I can't wait to meet this strong woman who wants to give up because she's tired but keeps fighting for her family and her own future.
I will be out of the tension in the house that no longer feels like home for three days with one of the best friends I've made since being in Michigan.
I also have something else I'm planning while I'm there but that deserves it's own blog later.

Concerning our own trip to AZ, we're about to close in on two possible travel periods: either the last two weeks in March or the first two weeks in April (with a possible prolongation into Easter holidays). Do you know when the night-flowers of the Saguaro start to bloom in the Tucson area? March would be too early to travel, or?
Looking forward to that next post of yours!
