WOOHOO!! New tattoo! These are my actual cats' paws. This is my first tat by a different artist so that was a little scary but the guy was awesome. I talked to him about being an SG hopeful and he said he's done some work on and SG that lives in my area. Such a small town.
This is Scooter, the top paw print. I got her when I was 5. She was an awesome companion and I miss her a lot. She lived through a lot with me growing up, moving out, moving across the country and buying my first house. She died at 19 due to tumors. We successfully treated her for renal failure for a year before the tumors started to grow.
The second paw down is Faye. When I was working as a bank teller an account holder brought her in to see if anyone wanted her. She was found alone on the side of the road covered in fleas and she was only about 4-5 weeks old. I fell in love with her pretty face and brought her home. She's an odd scaredy kitty.
This pic is when we first got her. She was smaller than my chinchilla, who only weighed a pound and a half.
This is her as an adult.
We got Sheska about two and a half years ago when my chinchilla Edgar died. She has really beautiful markings and a really sweet personality. She makes sure we get up at a decent time on the weekends by demanding we wake up and feed her breakfast.
Last but will never let herself be ignored is Molly. She's the newest and the smallest at 7.5lbs full grown but she bosses everyone else around. We got her a year and a half ago when Scooter died. I went to the same foster "mom" I adopted Sheska from and said I am not getting Molly because she looks too much like Scooter with similar markings and being a small adult cat. In the end I couldn't decide between Molly and another really sweet tortishell so we decided to sleep on it and go back the next day. As soon as we walked into the woman's house Molly ran up to me and jumped in my lap when I leaned down to pet her. We decided to adopt her and she is now my kitty and sleeps with me at night like Scooter used to, only in her own spastic way.
All of my cats have left a mark on my heart and I wanted to carry a piece of them with me.
