One of the worst parts about working 14 hours a day is that, by the time that I get home, all of the parking spaces in the back are taken, and I'm left with the forgotten lot by the swimming pool. I greatly prefer parking in the back.
Trudging from my car to the lobby entrance, tonight, I walked past a man's necktie, haphazardly laying on the sidewalk. Granted, if I had worn that ugly tie, I probably would have thrown it down in disgust, too.

To get to the lot by the swimming pool, one must drive through the other lots. There are only remnants of yellow lines to denote parking spaces. Few cars are ever parked there at the same time. Most people seem to prefer the lot behind the building; the entrances there are closest to the elevators.
