I posted this on MySpazz last week but thought that it could raise a few laughs here as well, so...
What's been happening lately? Random mundane stuff in no particular order:
- Enjoying my E-MU XBoard immensely but not as much as I would (work, fatigue and life in general always getting in the way). Getting back into sound manipulation is awesome but also demanding... a LOT of manual reading.
- Currently reading Turning the Mind into an Ally by Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche. Great stuff - I like its flowing narrative
- Wifey's stitches shall be removed this Friday. It's a long process to heal.
- Finally received Troum - AIWS today. For the story, I had ordered this CD from an Italian seller on eBay a while back and never received it, which pissed me off greatly. Only recently did I decide to look for it again and got a good deal. Still have to get another Troum CD that I had ordered from the same Italiano bastardo...
- I'm stuck at mid-level 17 (out of 18) on Ratchet & Clank because of a glitch. Basically, I'm on a ship that's supposed to take me to another part of the game but nothing happens. Read 4 different walkthroughs online and I have done everything correctly. How frustrating is this?? And the constant fact that nothing is ever simple. Nothing.
- Haven't been drunk once since the MBV gig. In Kinto days, that's like 3 regular human being lifetimes. I'm very pleased with this achievement and plan on making that last... with no end in sight.
Hope you're all doing well.
Be good

As far as books, my co-worker hooked me up with a book called Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card. Call me a sci-fi idiot, but I never heard of it until yesterday. Apparently it's one of the best science fiction books ever written. I haven't started reading it yet, but I plan on doing it Friday after I get back from Jury Duty (hoping they don't pick me again...)
Take it sleazy bro...
