Glad that this workweek is a 4-day one - well, actually, almost a 3 one because I'll leave at 3PM at the very latest on Thursday. This is good
This weekend will mark the 29th birthday of my dear N... haha, soon she'll be 30-ish like the rest of us old farts
Looking forward to Tuesday night with Sieur Apexxx and his lady. And also looking forward to the 4th - that should be fun. I will send a message around with more details later on today. It's actually sucky that there's no possibility to send group messages via SG. Or maybe there is and I missed it?
I have had some kind of epiphany in a bottle recently and I'm thinking about writing about one of the things in life that totally fascinates me - mainly due to the fact that most people are scared by this very thing and they constantly try to destroy its presence without even realizing it. I've been told quite a few times through the years that I'm good at writing and telling stories, so maybe it's time to listen to the critics and leave my perfectionism and constant self-deprecating doubts behind for a change.
And as I write this, I am seriously tempted to hit the "select all" and "delete" keys... You'd be surprised how many SG entries that existed only very briefly on this page, disappeared even faster (especially the last year or so).
Looks like I keep to myself more and more and this is part of what I may write about.
I hope you're all doing well and find beauty & happiness wherever/whenever you're not expecting it.
Edited to add: just received the "stimulus" check in the mail. The one good thing that Bush did in 8 years - see, even total, clueless idiots can do good things sometimes... maybe Humanity isn't totally fucked (but that's another subject for a later time)
