So we went to see Grindhouse yesterday.
This absolutely rocked - funny, witty, sexy and zombies: can't beat that
And by God, is she hot
On the other hand, the Tarantino one was so bad I almost fell asleep. Somebody should really tell him that it's 2007 and remaking to death the 'conversation that leads nowhere and lasts forever" has been done times and times again... and by none other than himself.
Seriously, at least it was funny in Reservoir Dogs or Pulp Fiction but having 4 girls at a table having the most boring conversation ever, make it last 30 minutes (that felt like 2 days) and having done the same useless conversation scene in a car at the beginning of the same movie is almost unbelievable. Then, when the big car chase at the end finally happens, you just want them all to die in a very slow and extremely painful way. Death Proof? Maybe. Crap-Proof? Not a chance.
Anyway, go see it for Planet Terror and "Machete"
"They fucked with the wrong Mexican"
And while we're on the movie subject, the trailer for the "haunted room" movie (based on a S. King novel, apparently) looked totally cool too.
Any other recommendations, guys? Seen good stuff lately?
Oh, and something incredible happened today: I went through a whole SG set! It probably hadn't happened in 2 or 3 years.
Wow.
Be good, people
