It's been a while.
Therefore, I think its appropiate that I fill you in with stuff that has been going on in my life.
As you know, I was gonna return to Venezuela (last blog dixit). So, here I am, it's been a month already and I', still trying to fit in into the old life style. Thing is, same way I never felt like I quite really belonged here, I still don't. Good thing is that living on my own has made me, uhm, stronger and more adaptable, so it is indeed more bearable.
I found a job, took me a couple of weeks. I'm working as Community Manager at a local agency. Is definitely not my area (not my favorite area at least) but there is a bright side to it. All of the staff is quite young and like minded, so there's a great atmosphere, and while I'm still learning the ropes of this particular job, I feel like I'm fitting in quite nice. Hours are good, office is pretty nice (we even have a PS3 to take turns at gaming during lunch break).
Country, well, is still the same, the violence levels are absurd and we live and breathe like we are in a city wide prison. Just like in the US, we have elections coming up soon, in october we'll get the chance of finally getting rid of this 14 yeas long karma; so please, send positve energies for our well being and for lasting peace in my country.
Family and friends are the same as before, if any, their love has grown stronger with distance. Live is different, moment is different, but their unwavering loyalty is still there, and that has being a key component of me not completely going into full depressed mode.
My beloved Araid and her husband are moving soon to Medellin, which is a great news for all of us, I am pretty sure they will make it there. Also, Sper is around, and it's gonna be till september I think, I missed her so much (and you know it) and its quite awesome to have her around.
And, well, pics!
